I have recently begun looking at Dave Ramsey's financial program and have planned to commit to the program in the very near future. He recommends several companies, and one I saw was "e-mealz". They have weekly menus planned for a number of different stores based on the weekly sales. So, this can go hand-in-hand with the couponing if you are pressed for time. You could probably spend a grand total of about 15 minutes per week clipping the coupons you need and printing out the weekly planned menu which includes a detailed list of what you need to buy at the store. This appeals to me...with the school year rapidly approaching and my impending return to part-time work, I won't be able to spend hours thinking about what I can get for the cheapest price and still put complete meals on the table. So, I signed up. I will update you on how it goes - you can get a store-specific list or a list that is generalized for any store (but this won't necessarily be based on any sales). I didn't see Vons on the list, so I went for the "any store" list. I may switch though - they also have Ralphs and Walmart specific lists. I am going to give it a try for a couple weeks to see if I need to switch.
If you would like to check it out:
As a favor to me, I would love it, if you do decide to sign up, if you would do it through that link above...I will get referral rewards! ;-)
Thanks!
