Don't forget that last week's list applies on Wednesday 7/13 (double-ad wednesdays). Some of the best deals I can see are:
Yellow or white nectarines, $0.88 per pound.
Red potatoes, 2 lbs for $1. [Note about this: This is most likely a marketing ploy to make you think you need to buy at least 2 lbs to get the price. However, there is nothing in the ad that says you have to buy 2 lbs. So really this is $0.50 a lb. unless it says something on the sign in the store.]
Yellow onions, 3 lbs for $1. [see note above]
White mushrooms, $0.99 each. [I like this deal - I make a really great mushroom gravy to put on top of pork chops. Let me know if you want it. Not exactly lo-cal, but really yummy. Probably would be good on chicken, too!]
Broccoli crowns, $0.99 per pound.
Chicken half breast, bone-in, $0.88 per pound.
Chicken and pork sausage, $2.99 per pound.
Organic Cameo Apples, $0.77 per pound. **This is a good deal****
Organic Packham Pears, $0.97 per pound.
Friday - Sunday deals:
8 ears of corn for $2.
On-the-vine tomatoes, $0.99 per pound.
