Sorry it took me so long...superbowl festivities and then a sinus infection...I realized I hadn't posted anything yet!!! Vons had a bunch on sale for B1G1 including nabisco crackers (wheat thins and triscuits), ball park hot dogs, and hillshire farm kielbasa. I saved 49% and ended up at exactly $100. That also earned me a $10 savings coupon from the Catalina machine (the machine that spits out q's at the end of your order) to use this week. We are running low on snacks, so I may use it for that. :-)
I recommend taking your store's coupon policy or have a way to access it (like I do with my smartphone). The reason I say this is because I actually had at least two q's for the B1G1 deals, but I wasn't sure if they would accept a q for the free item. In fact they don't, and I was able to check that in store and help my checkout go more smoothly.
I also went to Walmart and again they didn't scan all my q's! That just drives me crazy. I guess I just need to hand the q's to them one at a time.
Finally, on Sunday before the game, I decided to visit CVS because my suave q's were expiring and they had an ECB deal with suave products. My kids like the kids' shampoo, so I thought I would try to work the deal. It was a total bust. There were a grand total of THREE suave products in the whole store. You can't win them all. ;-)
I will be back to post about my plan for next week...what are you planning for dinner?
